Ken has extensive charter experience,
having spent the past ten years as a Licensed U.S. Coast Guard 100
ton Merchant Marine Master in San Diego, working for the top tier
charter organizations. He has a BA in Environmental Studies and an
advanced degree in Scientific Communication from the University of
California, Santa Cruz. He has helped provide on-the-water production
support for two major motion pictures: Master and Commander:
The Far Side of the World and Pirates of the Caribbean:
Curse of the Black Pearl, and has acted as Marine Coordinator
for numerous television productions.

Captain Joe DeFloria is a retired U.S.
Navy SEAL Commander with multiple direct action combat tours in Vietnam
as a SEAL Platoon Commander, and as a SEAL Detachment Commander.
During his 27 years in the U.S. Navy, he also served as the Skipper
of the SEAL training unit in Coronado, and as the Commanding Officer
of Underwater Demolition Team (UDT) 12. Captain Joe has been an active
charter boat captain in San Diego for 15 years.
