The Coronado Islands never fail to evoke feelings of awe and amazement in our passengers. A chain of four islands located just 15 miles South of San Diego, “Los Coronados” are protected by the Mexican Government as a nature preserve for migratory sea birds, marine mammals and the myriad of marine life found here.
The islands are a geologic wonder with natural bridges, sea caves and pristine crystal clear waters that are host to one of the most abundant marine eco-systems in the region. These islands have also enjoyed a rich and colorful history from harboring 18th & 19th century pirates to housing a prohibition era casino and bootlegging operations.
Your Captain will act as guide and naturalist sharing a wealth of information about the thriving marine ecosystem teeming with life around the islands. The Adventure R.I.B.’s low profile and shallow draft allows you to get up-close and personal to the marine life as you explore the islands’ rugged coastline and secluded coves.
3 Hour Charter focuses on the North “Dead Man’s” Island, which is home to countless seals,
sea lions and birds.
3.5 Hour Charter lets you explore both North Island and the two Middle Island, where there is a
seasonal elephant seal rookery.
4 Hour Charter allows time to explore and take in the beauty of all four islands.
